Three EZ Steps To Using The US Boat Certification.
STEP 1.
Get an certification certificate? It's an appraiser signed certificate, indicating the
average market value of a boat, and it was valued by a impartial third party appraiser and is
known as a boat certified certificate of appraisal.
STEP 2.
A boat certification certificate has an adjustable value. A salesperson has
the due diligence liberty to adjust the appraisal certificate value to represent the condition of
the subject boat.
STEP 3.
Seller and buyer coming to agreement. The boat appraisal base price has been
established and certificated. Only the boat's condition remains negotiable before closing the
sale. It's easier to talk condition, than price. It is impossible for Value-A-Boat to adjust for an
unseen boat's condition. However, US Boat explains how quick and easy it is to adjust for
condition.  Most of the time no condition adjustment is needed because most boats are in
normal condition, considering their age, fair wear and tear.
NOTE: Common Knowledge. A clean, well kept boat, that only has fair wear and tear
typical of their age are worth more than the average boat. A dirty, not kept boat, that has
extensive wear and tear not typical of their age are worth less then the average boat.


SCIENCE OF APPRAISING: Science of appraising is not an exact science and sales
data seldom ever indicates exact values. Values are usually found to be in a given range and
appraisers use due diligence to select a value to fit the task at hand. Many times a client will
request an appraiser to stay at the upper end of the range of numbers and other times go to
the lower end of the range. Others just don't care what the appraiser selects. We are asking
you to direct us to assigning values, as you are our client and know better than we do, as to
the direction you wish to go. As long as I stay within an appraisal range, the appraisal is
perfectly defend able and valid.
